star's journal
a comprehensive account of many adventures
entry one
she lays the freshly typewritten words at the top of a page in her leather bound journal, pasting them in carefully. she knows the power the written word had. much more than what any mere mortal had thought; she couldn't blame them for working with what they had. incessant thoughts clouded her mind as could feel the power of the words soak into her soul. she had been lost.
entry two: noticing the unnoticeable
have you ever noticed the peculiarity of the mundane?
a thimble
a button
a dime
loose in the pockets of time.
desperation to survive for the common house fly
to escape the cold of the approaching winter
even though it must know
it will not live forever
what is forever but a measure of time?
a week, a month, a year
is it all the same within this great expanse?
what makes a clock
tock
before the
tick
tick
a parasite
draining the life
blood
from us
us. me.
i am no philosopher, nor will i ever claim
to be.
these are the ramblings of a
wanderlust-wanderer-who-wonders-whether-we-will-wilt
they will say.
prose undignified, uncharted, unintentional, unnoticeable.
