A fish's sandbox
A magazine sits in a black box with exotic writing upon it. The pages are made of what appears to be mundane, earth-tree paper, while the furry cover lightly breathes, waiting for something. While seemingly ignored by other patrons, your considerably worse instincts compel you to open it. ""At least the latch seems normal"" you think, then briefly wonder why that thought was in English. Regardless, you carefully unseal the box, remove the literature, and begin reading.

A glowing terminal lights up a small room with a green glow.
"I don't think this is working"
A figure is hunched over the computer, the green glow the only light in the small cramped room. They don't know I'm watching.
"Here, let me try". Their partner roughly shoves the figure away from the green glow, starting to work on the 24 buttons that seem to be connected to terminal. Strange scripts begin to fill the screen, like a book being printed in light, I can't help but stare as the green glow's script begins to reveal itself to me.

"Damn, I thought that would work"
"How?!"
"It's literally magic"
They keep speaking to each other, raising their voices as they begin to grow flush, they still don't see me, blinded by the green glow.

After I finish digesting them, I linger next to the screen. I am starting to enjoy this green glow.

[After a successful infiltration into the structure, expedition group V-5 managed to interface with the thaumatuligical foundation. However, no surviving member was properly trained in the Arts, and were promptly dispatched by the natural defenses of the structure…
Despite this, we are requesting more funding for our next venture.
Included within this message is the recovered souls of expedition group V-5. Consider them a gift in good faith.
