A Gods Tapestry- AnnieTheRed

You know, there’s a secret to changing the world. People say they want to do it every day, by being a doctor, curing diseases, writing world famous books- yet they all have the same issue standing in front of their dreams. To change a world, one must never be of that world. And so, I stand here, on soil unknown to my touch, and a world unknowing of my kind, and prove my hypothesis true, as the fabric of the planet molds around my fingers.

It took some doing to get here, to this place so far from home. My kind is so naturally suited to exploration that we’ve spread far and wide, far enough that it was a painful and lengthy process to find a planet untouched by my kinds’ culture. For, that is what I originally failed to take into account, what exactly the universe quantifies as belonging.

As I so soon found out, when relating to my kind, it took very little nudging to cement our place in the universe.

I suppose I should explain, for what else would a record like this be for if not to tell to someone what I couldn't myself, after all, if I were to tell this to another face to face, my reasoning would be immediately apparent.

So, my kind, and why I have struggled for so long to find a place to shape:

We are few, but we are powerful. So much so in fact, that our numbers, where elsewhere might be detrimental, are turned to benefit. If we numbered even in the hundreds, the strife that would likely arise would be unlike any this section of our universe has felt, such that it could shake the star belts, and plunge trillions of planets into chaos.

Lest my claims of destruction seem grandiose and braggadocious, know of my kinds strength but this; we are of such power, in such small being, that our energy, as is amassed on the plain of being behind all others, that ma’at like field conveying and conducting all, is as like a great, gobbling black hole, a dense weight pulling the very layers of reality and fiction into ourselves, and feeding it with the power to become both more and less.

This very nature of our kind is what has brought me here, so far away from any other sentient lifeforms, for, seeing as our kind is seemingly immortally long lived, and with a penchant for travel, every point in the known universe- your known universe- is extremely likely to have been touched by one of my kind before, leaving an undeniable imprint, a blockage between the physical and mental realm, and the greater one, beyond all, beyond even the aether itself.

This is what I have journeyed to find, and what I harness today in this writing. If ever one were to find this, inlay into the windings of reality, know this; some words should be left unspoken, some creations should be left unmade, and some places were never meant to be explored. Return with what knowledge you have gleaned, and do not come back. I am, and always will be, making sure you don’t.
