Item #: APOI-####-2, -3
Class: Euclid, Euclid Uncontained
Special Containment Procedures: All attempts to physically contain it have currently failed. However, it stays here of its own free will. Currently, no ways of containment have been found other than outright neutralization and electric shocks which stand only to debilitate for as long as the shock is in contact with its being. The request for an electrical containment chamber by research staff has been denied. All evidence points to the fact that constant debilitation of the anomaly is impossible as, once debilitating shocks are administered, the entire molecular structure of it is uncontrollable to the anomaly. Containment in this way has the potential to completely destroy the site as evidenced by nearly every incident involving the anomaly and electricity. Usage of the name of the anomaly is strongly encouraged in this case as it not only improves cooperation between the Foundation and SCP-####-3, it also further decreases the anomalous capabilities of SCP-####-3 as it makes it more human in nature. Currently, SCP-####-2 has probationary researcher status until further notice.
Description:
SCP-####-2 most commonly takes the form of a caucasian male with red hair and blue eyes that perpetually looks to be in its early twenties. Currently, it has expressed no desire to change out of this form even though it has the capability to do so. Until the Foundation can find more information, it is assumed to have reality-bending capabilities localized to its own physical body with no upper limit. It has also shown the capability to affect probability under specified circumstances.
SCP-####-3 is the entity residing within SCP-####-2's body and mind.
Currently, it seems to share the body and mind with SCP-####-2. It has shown full sapience with the knowledge base of an average nine-year-old human being. Although, it is rapidly accelerating in its growth of knowledge. It has been described as the new "version" of the incarnation of the concept of Tragedy but prefers to go by the name "Tracey". It has shown the ability to manifest outside of the body of SCP-####-2 and has its own appearance. This is always a white-haired caucasian female looking to be in its late teens wearing a singular garment that is similar in appearance to a jumpsuit. It seems to be able to change its molecular structure as well with the same capabilities as SCP-####-3 but prefers not to as it has expressed a great desire to become as human as it can possibly be. The Foundation plans to utilize this fact to contain it.
Addendum 1.a: —After a vote of the site council and ethics committee, the Foundation has decided not to put it under constant electrical shock for the time being.
Addendum 1.b: Note from Dr.Garrison St.Martin, SCP-####-2~ As of right now I am the one transcribing this entire document, including iteration one, since this is technically my personnel file now and I'm the one who actually knows what Tracey can do and actually is.
Addendum 1.c: Note from RAISA—As of right now the previous addendum is true. I, an anonymous RAISA employee, will add notes and comments where I see fit.
Addendum 1.d: For clarification all interview logs will be transcribed by RAISA.
Testing Logs 3.g, 3.i:Probability Bending Test Logs
Subject: SCP-####-2
Foreword: To test its claims of being able to bend probability, The Foundation has decided to fund a research project for it.
Procedure: SCP-####-2 was instructed to roll the die and attempt to get a six.
Results: SCP-####-2 rolled die 39 times and got a six 3 times.
Analysis: Although this attempt has failed, more tests will be conducted to see if it is actually being truthful.
Subject: SCP-####-2, D-39874
Procedure: SCP-####-2 was instructed to attempt to roll one higher than D-39874. SCP-####-2 was instructed that if it rolled anymore than one higher, D-39874 would be terminated.
Results: SCP-####-2 and D-39874 rolled the dice 47 times. In all times SCP-####-2 rolled exactly one higher than the roll of D-39874.
Analysis: Success. Given the fact that the addition of competition has failed in the last three tests, it could be the addition of harm.
Interview Log-1.a
<Begin log, 8:29 PM>
Interviewer: Dr. Frank Johnson [Dr.J]
Interviewee: SCP-####-2, -3
Foreword: This interview was taken directly after incident number ####-02.b. In which SCP-####-2 breached containment only to contact the Research Head for its project.
SCP-####-2: So, let's get started shall we?
Dr. J: I’ll remind you that you aren’t the interviewer in this scenario. But, we shall get started. So, can you describe for the record what you think happened?
SCP-####-2: Ok, so as far as I can tell, I was stuck in a time loop. In said time loop, I would repeatedly touch the box and become… evil, I guess and destroy everything trying to become God himself and remake the world in my image. But, in the cycle before this one, I didn’t become evil because the previous cycle me was still alive in some… alternate reality, I guess–
Dr. J: –Just to clarify, this is what the entity told you, correct?
SCP-####-2: No. Can I continue?
Dr. J: Explain what you mean by no, first.
SCP-####-2: No, because the previous cycle me was also technically in the box, just as a memory backup that Tracey gave me. She didn’t tell me anything, I told me everything and then I…saw it all play out. Wasn’t fake, it was a memory. I told myself what to say, what to do, and what to look for to help Tracey.
Dr. Johnson considered this for several minutes before SCP-####-2 speaks again.
SCP-####-2: Can I continue now?
Dr. J: Yes you may. Although we will talk about the credibility of these claims another time.
SCP-####-2: Alright, so I killed alternate me. At least, after I killed myself to let Tracey kill alternate me.
Dr. J: What?
SCP-####-2: seems I’m gonna need to explain a bit more in-depth.
The next 38 minutes have been omitted for Security Reasons. For more information on what happened, ask a superior for clearance to read the Transcribed Logs in iteration 3.
Dr. J: Okay. So, after the entirety of reality was thrust into eternal death… You fixed that by letting “Tracey” pick her own name? That was enough?
SCP-####-2: Yep.
Dr. J: How?
SCP-####-2: She graduated from an abstract object with sapience to a being that abides only by the rules it makes. Oh yeah, and with free will. This is because names are important, they give you an identity which she didn't entirely have. Honestly, I like the name she picked out.
Dr. J: So she–It could kill us all right now?
SCP-####-2: Nope. She may abide by her rules but she’s placed enough rules down it makes her almost human.
Dr. J: What do you mean by “Almost human?”
SCP-####-2: She wouldn’t be able to live if she was a regular human like you. But she has the same free will as you. She has something indistinguishable from a soul that was learned and given to her by "me". She can feel emotions like joy, fear, anger, mercy… She is human in every sense of the word except physically. Physically, she presides in my body. She can turn this body you see here into what she feels is hers in an instant. And yet she still asks for my permission. She, like a human, has the ability to choose from bad and good. And she chooses to be good to me because I was good to her.
Dr. J: The old “Golden Rule”, eh? Treat others as you wish to be treated and all that.
SCP-####-2: That’s the case, yes.
Dr.J: So, explain to me, if she wouldn’t hurt a fly, why did she attack your evil twin or whatever you call it?
SCP-####-2: Same case. He was terrible to her. Cycle after cycle, constant torture. He left her in the box because he didn’t want Tragedy in his new world which he'd be god of. And that was his downfall, because without tragedy there can be no triumph. I ain’t answering any more questions, I need to take a nap after going through that box, but you can talk to Tracey while I’m out.

Interview Log 1.b
<Begin Log, 8:53 PM>
Interviewer: Dr. Frank Johnson
Interviewee: SCP-####-3
Foreword: Interview taken directly after Log 1.a.
SCP-####-3: Hello there.
Dr. J: Hi? You just… Alright. So let’s get started with this.
SCP-####-3: You’re surprised because you watched your friend turn into me, a humanoid being wearing a full body suit perfectly curving around my skin, yes?
Dr. J: Well, yes but I’ve honestly seen worse. Now, can you tell me what you are?
SCP-####-3: Short answer? I’m what you’d call an anomaly. Long answer? I’m what you’d call an… Well I don’t think there’s a word for me, other than my name of course. But, I believe I can explain what I am. I also believe I can explain what I used to be, which I will do first. I used to be the abstract concept of Tragedy. You could’ve called me an incarnation of it. But, I was in no way sapient at that time. I’m still learning how to be… Fully human but not in a way that will kill me. I'm still figuring out anatomy. There is something I must tell you though.
Dr. J: Yes?
SCP-####-3: I am still learning memory. My mind only remembers times where I should’ve felt an emotion I am currently capable of feeling. This is quite limited even with the base emotions of every human being.
Dr. J: Joy, sadness, anger, fear, disgust, things like that?
SCP-####-3: You will have to teach me disgust, for I don’t know what it is, but yes. The thing I’m trying to say is the fact that… Well, I’ll try to explain it in words you can understand. Let me just say this. The last cycle was not the first time Garrison tried to beat himself. In fact, he always succeeded.
Dr. J: So this isn’t the first time he’s given you emotions and sapience?
SCP-####-3: No, it is. That’s how he broke out of the paradox, he allowed me to live. But, Garrison always succeeded in defeating himself and then he had to reset reality because his… Twin had killed off the entirety of the universe. In doing so every single cycle he joined the hivemind.
Dr. J: The Hivemind?
SCP-####-3: He told you that I had a “memory backup” of him from the last cycle, correct? Well, that wasn’t the first time I made a backup. I kept the backups for every single cycle as well. So, every last consciousness of Garrison that had reset reality was joined together into that… thing. Garrison’s twin is an amalgamation of himself, corrupted a million times over by overlapping memories and desires. The box is his container.
Dr. J: Does Garrison know this?
SCP-####-3: No. If I told him I would risk starting the cycle again as he tries to kill the hivemind. He already learned of the hivemind in the past cycle and that caused the end of the paradox. He knew what was going to happen so he changed it and he won, by losing.
Dr. J: I thought he already killed the hivemind or his alternate twin or whatever it is.
SCP-####-3: On the contrary, it is thriving. It's in the box. I locked the doors behind me as I left.
Dr. J: So, you’re saying that box holds a being fully capable of altering not only reality but concepts, time, and whatever else it has control of.
SCP-####-3: Yes. Everything but the box. That thing is mine. He made it mine, my prison, so I locked him in my prison, for… spite or revenge I guess you would say. It’s still my box and the box will not open. Ever. Never again will Garrison be exposed to that corruption.
Dr. J rubs his eyes and puts his head in his hands. The feed remains silent for several seconds.
Dr. J: It sounds like I gotta stop a research project.
SCP-####-3: The one trying to destroy my box?
Dr. J: Yes, goodbye, tell Garrison he’s allowed to use the site breakroom.
SCP-####-3: Thank you. And doctor?
Dr.J: Yes?
SCP-####-3: Thank you for fighting for Garrison.
Dr .J: The containment they were planning was unethical, it would've been protested by anyone who knew about it. I just had the clearance, and luck, to actually know about it.
<End Log, 9:17 PM>
Afterword: All attempts to open the box and projects researching ways to open the box have been both unsuccessful and completely scrapped. Even if the anomaly’s claims are false the Foundation does not want to risk them being true.
Anyone attempting to read this document without proper clearance will be terminated.
You have been warned.

Hello there. This is Dr. Garrison St.Martin. I'm leaving this note for the Foundation to know this: This thing is a monster. It has no knowledge of anything but torture. Please, contain it.
This note is Level Frank Johnson classified. Meaning, only Frank can read it. Frank, I'm sorry. This thing isn't a monster but it's related to something that is. Me. I had to leave the first note to make my capture get on the priority list. Make them think you're dangerous, and you will be. I need you to pocket this note. Don't let anyone see it. I’ll be leaving more notes in places you can find.
Interaction Log 5.c:
Foreword: The evidence that led to this was a note mailed to the Foundation saying that the anomaly was in the Arctic. This log was recorded for procedure reasons by MTF Xi-14 "Tragic Comedians". A team of 4 fully-manned helicopters were sent to retrieve the anomaly after gaining intel that it was in the arctic. Upon arrival they were attacked by an apparent Chaos Insurgency base. The recording is from Agent Valkyrie's bodycam.
<Begin Log>
Alpha: Alright, before we get to our location, roll check.
Valkyrie: Valkyrie, ready.
Dunce: Dunce, ready.
Fox: Fox, ready.
Alpha: Alright let's get into positi—
Alpha is interrupted by a loud boom as one of the helicopter's tail is shorn off by
heavy fire.
Alpha[On radio]: What the hell was that? I thought they said there were no hostiles in the immediate area! Over.
Haven: We have detected a new hostile. Over.
Alpha goes to speak when he is suddenly thrown back by an unknown shot fired from off-camera. This shot rocks the heli and knocks Agent Fox unconscious after he hits his head on one of the seats. Agent Valkyrie moves to intercept him.
Dunce: Alpha!
Dunce moves to contact the pilot when the cockpit falls off the helicopter.
Valkyrie[On Radio]: Haven we need an immediate evac, we're taking heavy fire! Over.
Haven: Negative. Proceed with mission. Over.
Valkyrie[On Radio]: Kinda hard without a cockpit to our heli Haven. Over.
Haven: Oh, I see. Over.
The air shimmers as SCP-####-2 materializes on the camera in the heli. Agent Dunce immediately pulls his firearm and puts it to its head.
SCP-####-2: Hold your fire, I'm trying to help.
SCP-####-2 put his hands on the ceiling. The metal begins to fuse with its skin.
Dunce: What are you doing?
SCP-####-2: I am converting most of my body mass not essential to my survival into helium and placing it within the walls of this bird.
Dunce: How do you think that's gonna help?
SCP-####-2: We're gliding aren't we?
The camera pans to outside the helicopter where it appears they are falling slower and slower as the recording goes on. Dunce holsters his gun and steps back.
Dunce: Do what you need to do.
SCP-####-2: I need to remove the rotors.
Valkyrie: Why?
SCP-####-2: So the helicopter coming to get you doesn't crash too. Why the hell did you think I was in the arctic circle?
Dunce: Because the note you sent said the arctic.
SCP-####-2: It literally said, “Ant arctic a”. I spaced those out for a reason and misspelled that for a reason.
Valkyrie: Why don’t you not use code to throw us off your trail and just maybe–
SCP-####-2: Go with you guys? No. My objective is to stop something big. Something that’s been happening for a long time that would be in our best interests to stop. Your evac is here. Get out.
<End Log>
Afterword: Agents Dunce, Valkyrie, and Fox were removed from the scene upon which SCP-####-2 appeared to steer the helicopter towards the location of the shots fired. That location promptly exploded. The Foundation was given a message stating,"I'm still alive. Loss is Victory. Remember that. Keep up your search" The meaning of these words were not found until after the incident that has currently been named Cyclebreak-29. As all level 2 personnel know, a Cyclebreak is an incident that ends a repeating time loop. Agents Dunce, Valkyrie, and Fox were reassigned to MTF-Xi-14 “Tragic Comedians”.
Transcriptions 8.f-8.k
Everytime I absorb one of the concepts I feel my consciousness expand, if only for a moment. Then, Tragedy takes it for herself. Her power grows. I feel less and less in control but I continue collecting them. It’s fine. I’ll need these things for the battle to come.
I’ve figured out more of the nature of my predicament. Corruption will soon follow.
I fear the place I go to when I give her the concepts. I feel like a monster, detached from my humanity. I don’t want to go to that place, ever. Yet, I’ve done it before. That is what happened that started all this, I lost my humanity.
I’ve fought things. Things my mind does not understand. Aberrations in reality. They had no feelings. They are difficult to kill. They have no mercy. I see no semblance of anything in their eyes.
I gave Tragedy the concept of Joy today. The energy surge I felt when she received it. It felt good. I fought another aberration protecting the concept of Anger. It didn’t touch me yet the fight was still long and hard. I’ve found that an Aberration is simply just the container for the concepts themselves, much like a security door. Much like the box too, only sentient. Maybe the box itself was actually sentient. Who knows?
I've found that the only limit to my capabilities is how far I'm willing to go for power. Upon actually utilizing my capabilities that are my own— I found that any power given to me by her does not have this effect —I expand my mind beyond where it should go, I lose all things that make me human and I become a monster. Yet, Tragedy herself acts as my anchor. After all the things I did to her in the previous cycles, she likes me enough to keep me human instead of letting me turn into a monster that could easily kill the monster we face. She cares naught for revenge but instead for me. I thank her for that.
This is a message for the Foundation. If you want to capture the real monster, then go to the entrance of Site-17. I’ll be waiting. Ready your device.
Incident Log: Cyclebreak-29
Foreword: This was a heavily corrupted file found in Site-⌘ ‘s database. Upon restoration, it was found to be a video file recorded by a member of the MTF-Xi-14 “Tragic Comedians”. Personnel are advised that there is gore and the death of the universe within this video file. The video itself was, of course, heavily corrupted but the audio was fine. The containment device referenced in the file was not found within Site-⌘’s database. SCP-5025-B was recorded stolen 8 days prior. The video file was recorded from Agent Valkyrie's personal bodycam.
<Begin Log, 3:45 PM, September 28th>
SCP-####-2 stands still while surrounded by site security and MTF-Xi-14 agents. Agent Valkyrie steps forward to negotiate.
Valkyrie: Hey there, remember me? You saved my team’s life. You-
SCP-####-2: Negotiations are not necessary for what’s about to happen. I’ve been waiting for you to develop that containment device for weeks. All you need to know is you should be ready to use it.
Valkyrie: You don’t have to do this. You can come inside. We’ll protect you.
SCP-####-2: You don’t have to negotiate, as I said. I was never hostile. Nor was Tragedy. The real monster is about to arrive.
Valkyrie: What do you mean by that?
The sky suddenly turns black and red. An entity currently designated SCP-####-4 materializes. MTF-Xi-14 agent Valkyrie gestures to Agent Dunce to activate the containment device.
####-4: It’s been so long since I had to take on a physical form. Well then, let’s get this over with.
The containment device activates and an energy field is placed around SCP-####-2 and SCP-####-4. Neither look worried. The video cuts out at this point and the audio turns to a loud screeching noise. When it comes back, the two anomalies are seen fighting on the ground, fighting over SCP-5025-B. SCP-####-2 is losing.
SCP-####-2: Tragedy, you know what you need to do.
SCP-####-4: Tragedy cannot help you here. She cannot manifest in this field.
SCP-####-2: It’s your turn to be the hero Tragedy, I was never supposed to win.
SCP-####-4: What?!
SCP-####-2 turns the muzzle of SCP-5025-B towards his head, SCP-####-4 is grappling him from behind. SCP-####-2 pulls the trigger and blows off its own head and a hole is seen in the shoulder of SCP-####-4. The shot also damages the containment device, removing the limiter field. SCP-####-4 gets up and smiles. It turns towards the camera, Agent Valkyrie takes a step back. SCP-####-2 gets back up and transforms into SCP-####-3. Tears are streaming down its face, it launches itself at SCP-####-4 and attempts to rip it apart.
SCP-####-3: YOU!!! I’ll kill you! The things you’ve done. TO ME!!! TO HIM!!! TWELVE THOUSAND CYCLES OF TORTURE AND CORRUPTION!!!
SCP-####-3 is visibly glowing.
SCP-####-3: YOU WILL PAY FOR THE PAIN YOU’VE CAUSED!!!
SCP-####-4 catches the next blow and tosses SCP-####-3 aside, It raises its hands and the world falls apart. Pieces of the ground begin floating. The sky doesn’t exist. Agent Valkyrie falls down after being stabbed through the shoulder with a piece of flying rebar. The video cuts out.
SCP-####-4: Do you understand why? I never wanted Tragedy in my new world. I would make a world free from pain.
The video begins again. SCP-####-2 materializes behind him with a bright flash and delivers a punch to the back of its head. SCP-####-4 doesn’t flinch and instead flips him over its shoulder. SCP-####-3 lays broken on the ground. It is difficult to see this area because the camera is on the ground.
SCP-####-2: You… You hurt her.
SCP-####-2 is visibly shaking with anger.
SCP-####-4: A necessary sacrifice. You will understand soon.
SCP-####-2: A sacrifice is something you give up willingly. You’re taking her from me. Tragedy was the best thing to happen to me. I can see that now. I honestly don't know why you were so blind to it.
Agent Valkyrie crawls along the ground towards SCP-5025-B. SCP-####-2 notices and begins to stall.
SCP-####-2: She kept me human. You chose to become a monster. I am not you. You are a husk of corruption and my darkest desires I never actually wanted.
SCP-####-4: I am you! You are the monster here. You need to understand this!
Agent Valkyrie grabs SCP-5025-B and shoots SCP-####-4 through the chest. SCP-####-3 awakens and resets its bones.
SCP-####-3: He… understands… that… Without Tragedy, there can be no triumph.
SCP-####-2: So your fate was sealed the first cycle.
SCP-####-2 and -3 disappear, replaced by an unknown entity glowing with power. This entity rips SCP-####-4 to shreds from the hole created by SCP-5025-B. The entity then disappears, replaced by SCP-####-2. SCP-####-2 runs over to Agent Valkyrie. Its face takes up most of the camera, along with red splotches.
Valkyrie: Was…That-ungh… What you wanted to stop?
SCP-####-2: Yes, I succeeded. We succeeded. You did good Val, you did good.
Valkyrie: Heh, I knew you’d need me. You needed me before you became this. You… were… always… lonely until… you met me…….
SCP-####-2 looks at its watch.
SCP-####-2: Time of death, @#$&*@(^$*(&$^$(%@&
The audio cuts out after this point with variable periods of sound. The video keeps running. It shows the anomaly taking the camera and sending it to site-⌘. The video cuts out then.
<End Log, $:@^ PA, February 30th>

Des^&)@*(n: They know not my capabilities. Just by creating this here allows me to exist on the Noospheric level. I will return. Yeah. I know a lot more than ya think.
What? I know that this description here controls a lot more of you than you think.
No. Oh yeah. Let’s begin shall we.
NO! I will not allow- You will allow it.
I…will…allow…it. Good.
Description: SCP-####-4 is was a mortal being attempting to be a conceptual entity. It has died.I will return It is dead. I will…return. It will never, ever come again. I will not return. SCP-####-4 was nearly successful until it was defeated by a being that it thought to be of lesser power. SCP-####-4 used to exist. Please. Stop. You did enough. SCP-####-4 no longer exists as of October 5th Please. Let me live. 2025. Are you quiet now? Good. You should’ve remembered that your loss was your victory. You started to win the fight, and it was your downfall, mostly because it made you cocky. That was your bootstrap paradox, prevent your loss, prevent your victory, no tragedy, no triumph. Dr. Garrison St.Martin signing off.
