Item #: SCP-6005
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: 6005 is to be eliminated from any "Smash Brothers" brackets off-stream and is to lose before showcasing itself to an audience of views. MTF Ling-7, a group of gamers equipped with anti-memetic hardware, are able to eliminate 6005 from tournaments before it gets far enough to cause major disturbances to viewers.
Description: SCP-6005, often referred to as "Mr E" is a humanoid male, appearing to be in his mid-twenties and of unknown descent. The anomaly is an avid player of the "Super Smash Brothers" series, manifesting primarily in online tournaments of said game. The anomalous effect of this entity is twofold. Firstly, the entity manifests winning records in bracket, to the point of becoming a well-recognized player for his perceived skills. However, this is a memetic effect. The second part of SCP-6005's anomalous effect causes him to always lose when appearing on stream. These streamed appearances counter the memetic effect and instead trigger this secondary effect.
Addendum: Players of Super Smash Brothers have began to realize this effect. They have noted that the entity always seems to lose when onstream, and has therefore become a point of mockery within the "Smash Brothers" community. Although they have no direct awareness of the Foundation, a close eye must be kept on social media's notice of the anomaly and Class-A amnestics delivered if need be. Currently, 6005 presents no danger to the public, but an upgrade in class to Euclid is in consideration if any new anomalous effects emerge as the entity looks into, and attends, in-person tournaments.
