1/1/3045 Diary Excerpt From "The Diary Of the Undead".

Blood, Bone and Flesh. The three words of power, swirling in my mind for ever and ever. Their blood and their flesh, which makes me lust for mine.

I was born, before they came, but I don't remember a world without them, without it in me. I was bonded when I was a kid, not sure when. But I've always been the monster, I am now.

I killed five humans today. Two men, two women, and one teenager, who I didn't take the time to figure out the gender of. They had been hiding in a cave up in the mountains, to the west of the city. I think they were a family, one that I destroyed. They were huddled up around a fire.

They were smart, hiding in a cave. They thought since I couldn't see the fire, and the smoke blended into the now ever present dark sky of night, I couldn't find them. They didn't account for my smell.

I exhaled my chlorine gas. They smelt it, as soon as they did. They pulled on gas masks, but that didn't stop the fire from going out. They started shooting blindly at me. None of the bullets hit me. I grabbed them, one by one. I killed one of the men first. He was in a twenties, Latino, I think. I latched my fangs onto his neck, and drank as much blood, as a I could, until his head fell off. The bloodlust overtook me, and I grabbed the next one, and then the next.

I left the teen for last. They had a riffle. They managed to land a shot on me, but missed my heart. So, I ripped their head off with my claws. I finished up with their bodies. And got out of there as fast as I could.

It's a pity to think. They might have been the last members of humanity.

I don't like killing, never have, and I had my fill yesterday, so I didn't go hunting. Not that there's much point in hunting, I won't find anything. They've managed to wipe out the humans through us.

The Aliens arrived in our world a century ago. I think, my memories not that good. They disabled all of our - humanity's satellites and the meager colonies humans had outside of Earth. They settled on the moon, in the remnants of the city of Luna. Lots of people died, but I think the humans also managed to kill lots of them. That's why instead of outright invasion, they tried plan B.

First, they filled the atmosphere with gasses, or something like that, I don't know. I'm not a scientist. But, in the end the sky was always dark. It's like all the sky is covered in smog. It was chaos, plants died. Mass starvation. There were a bunch of underground farms, set up in preparation for wars, and stuff, but they couldn't handle the amount of food needed.

Humans thought this was the plan, to wipe them out, by starving them, but the aliens had more … inventive plans. Like I said, I don't remember being human, but I was turned.

We were infected with a virus, that made us bloodthirsty, and ruthless. I'm an original, the first generation of turned. I can bend a metal pipe with my hands. I have fangs that, slide in on top of my normal teeth. I have claws like a bear's. And I'm probably one of the most prolific mass-murders ever.

I once controlled vamp nest covering an entire content, the one that the humans used to call North America. The aliens used us to wipe out the humans faster, and boy did it work. About twenty years ago, our scouts stopped finding humans, and we started starving. The humans were running out.

When vampires starve, we become horrible. My nest wiped itself out, in a matter of weeks. Four-hundred vampires, all killing anyone weaker than them, for blood. The weakest were eaten by they're betters, and them by their betters. In the end, I ate my top lieutenants, and the nest I had spent the better part of a century building, crumbled.

The sky's clearing up. It's been exactly a hundred years since the sky turned dark, and now slowly turning light again.

You have to admire their plan. Kill all the humans by stopping them from growing food, and also send in a virus which makes some of the humans eat the others, and then kill all of them. As soon as the food ran out, we would eat each other, and those of us who managed to survive that, like that. Well, we aren't called vampire's for nothing, the sun will kill me.

This is how the world ended.

Something, strange happened yesterday.

I've been living in this old government facility, and last night, (the sky is clear enough now, that I can tell night from day) all these lights started flashing, and then this false door opened up.

I'm not sure, what's down there. The letters 'SCP' were written on the wall, along with a symbol that looked like if the radiation warning sign, and a picture of gear had a baby. I went exploring, of course.

There were traps all across the facility, but nothing I couldn't handle. I found a few skeletons, looked like they'd starved out.

There were hundreds of "Containment Cells" in the facility. Apparently, this used to be one of many facilities operated by this SCP Foundation. They caught and contained hundreds, thousands of monsters, magical objects, and whole bunch of other stuff.

I know mind-blowing. There were at least fifty in this facility, but only one of them might save my life.

"SCP-123456" was it's designation or whatever. It's a book, and according to the SCP Foundation when written in, it sends you to somewhere called the wanderer's library. Which is a library that had every book ever written in it, and any book that will be written, and also books that never will be. That doesn't make sense. That's not the important part. Through this library I can go to other universes.

I CAN ESCAPE!!!!!!

I know it's a bad step, but what am I gonna do if I stay. I'll just have to curl up and die, or burn up, and die.

I'm leaving tomorrow.

???/?/?????

I'm in the wanderer's library. I'm free.

I got directions from some weird guy, well not a guy. I think it was a robot. Doesn't matter. I got directions to another Earth!!!

This earth's timeline is behind mine. So, it's still 2021 there. No energy super-nuke wars, No deadly diseases, at least not man-made ones. But, I'm told there a SCP Foundation there too.

I'll be going there in a minute, but I've decided to leave this diary here. So, I'm just finishing this up.

Goodbye. Old Friend.
