Marcus Galerius washed his hands of the blood, the guilt fading away in the wash basin. He overturned the basin and bundle of appendages into the eternal deep, hoping with all hope that it was enough. It was not. He felt his mind and body drawn into that maw. Marcus Galerius ended.

1978 CE
Natalia Pierce took her time. Skin. Sinew. Blood. Pain. Glorious pain. She gave everything for The Pit, and she gave herself. She gave up her offering. It was enough. Natalia Pierce ended.

1888 CE
Nikola Esmann brought along his daughter. Little Sophie knew what was to happen. She resigned to this fact years ago, being taught that there was no honor greater than being eaten by The Pit. Aaron held her lovingly, and in an instant, no longer held anything. Sophie Esmann ended.

2003 CE
Visesh Adani stood at the edge of The Pit, breathing deeply. They took one step, two. And down they went. It was warmer than they expected. Visesh Adani ended.

1776 CE
Monte Louvois walked down the hill. He noticed The Pit. He tripped. Monte Louvois ended.
