Now that the easy work is done I will try and describe the horror I felt when I went against the Vampire lord Lechain. I was but young man, unchallenged and quite rash in my actions. The senior mage's of Limisu felt me untested and desired to see me knocked of my personal pedestal once and for all. The first person to come and challenge my skill was Magi Volvrum De Rhinitis and his task for me was to figure out what was going on at the castle of Lord Lechain. The locals where thinking that he died quietly in a plague addled sleep, the only local who would even talk to me (a lovely fair haired lady with whom i spent the night) told me that the Lord was known to be pale skinned and sickly. This would have normally not been very interesting to me if she hadn't also noted that he was almost only ever seen Early in the morning. Naturally i began to suspect a vampire but i did not see the usually signs as described in "Lanna Mariachis Book of Unbound creatures"
