Welcome to the tent of wonders, here you shall find my drafts and such, hopefully you'll have fun reading them and all that fun stuff
Ch.1: The Basics
It was pretty dark today.
I mean like, very dark, after all, our grand elder hasn't made a star for us quite yet, but perhaps she will soon? Not like we need it, we're Golems, all we need are minerals to feed our cores and companionship. Our grand elder is still powerful enough to create our minerals, but that may change soon enough. But that's all we'll ever need, we could be our own makers too, since its all empty apart from this land we're currently on. The grand elder, along with the other elders can create certain things as far as I'm aware. This includes my parents, they're elders too.
I'm one of the second-wave Golems, meaning I inherited some abilities my parents had, but not enough to be as powerful as them, but I want to be, I really do. My parents are just so powerful, and hopefully my core grows to be just as strong and maybe stronger? Probably not, but a kid can dream. They are truly powerful, after all they did shape the land, create water, and even create a passage of time.
Wait do you readers even know what a Golem is? Like, maybe we don't exist in your time, or maybe our types just dissipated over time, I wouldn't know. I'll be decommissioned by then, I do want to have a kid after all. In case Rock, Ice, and Wind Golems don't exist anymore, then here's a quick summary, rock Golems are, despite what we're called, we can be made up of the dirt and rubble of the land, and we usually are. Ice Golems are what they're literally called, Golems made up of an super-chilled ice. cold to the touch. Wind Golems are probably the most unique, since they're mostly mad up of gasses and such. we still don't really know how they work, they themselves barely know.
But maybe these types of Golems do exist, so perhaps you'd like to know about the Infinite Oblivion, my current home. well its truly colorless, and staring at it hurts my sight pieces, and my core's thought processor. The pain is almost unbearable, as if its something that shouldn't exist, and in a way it doesn't? We were born into a broken world, and according to the elders, there was a point where land wasn't even a real thing. That is the power of the elders, but this isn't about them, its about the Infinite Oblivion. While I did say it was empty, it itself is a being of sorts, and it surely doesn't want us here, it seems aggravated for some reason. But we haven't done anything, not that I know of at least. But perhaps it was before our time, but who'd to say, as far as we all know, nothing existed before, just the Infinite Oblivion. Its always been there, and honestly, it just scares me. I want nothing to come of it and hopefully nothing will.
It may be confusing for both our home and the endless nothingness to be both called "the Infinite Oblivion" but we do plan on renaming our homeland. maybe to Voicotta? that was my name idea! It came to me while I rested my core. the Infinite Oblivion is very unknown, it does at times reject certain energies and such, and recently we've seen others that are not like Golems. Odd fluffy creatures that started creating weird green stuff that quickly chilled. after making stuff that feels hot, the green stuff still died. maybe a star can fix that? who knows, I surely don't.
Well what else is there to know? don't touch it. You might be thinking, "Sugilite, how the heck do you touch nothingness?" well to be honest, I don't know, but somehow one of my brothers did, and they simply went mad. It was a really upsetting time for everyone, and we even had to put him down after that. As far as I know there's no known cure for its maddening effects, hopefully you have one right now. If you haven't seen what it does then I hope you never do, their ramblings are those not understandable by any sound receivers as of now. In a way its very painful to listen to. I personally don't enjoy living next to this nothingness. It really does hurt. But everyday I can hear its whispers, but I'm sure everyone nearby can so I'm not special in that regard. We hope soon we find a way to manipulate the passage of time, It'll definitely help us and maybe even those fuzzy folk
I'm just a kid, I don't know all that much, and it seems as if I'm the only one willing to record our history, even if it pains me to do so. I know how fun learning can be fun, but this is also my personal journal. pretty much the only thing I get to record on. But anyways, its all pretty nice all around.
