The Words of The Hanged King

"Hey, Sylenos," he said, "Is it possible that we may have made a mistake in letting the Hanged King into the Library?"

Sylenos turned his bisected, scarab-like head with a disappointed clack of his mandibles. Letting out a hoarse grunt that could only be described as a sigh to those of his species.

"We've gone over this a thousand times" Sylenos said, "The Hanged King was a figment of the past, nothing more, so stop dwelling on it"

Kvaldir shuddered, even for as long as he had known Sylenos, it was still jarring to feel the pincer-like transmission of his telepathic communications, worming their way into the mottled flesh of his brain.

He meant this figuratively, of course, communication with a variety of species was a very unusual thing to behold, as a human's perspective on communication was easily dwarfed by the languages and ways of speaking that other creatures normally had.
