Beginning Message:
What are we here for? The humans, the otherworldly mortals, the anomalous, we are all here for a reason. This is a reason of wonder, of question that scientists say they understand with the Big Bang Theory, but they forget about the Big Bangs' origin story, what was that? Priests just say "we could never know." Humans strive to understand, but some knowledge is just beyond our reach. I want to tell you a story, a story about wonder, a story about purpose, our purpose.
What do you have faith in? Do you have faith that your chair will hold you up? Do you have faith that your roof won't collapse? Do you have faith that your dinner wasn't poisoned? Everyone has faith in something, and that is just a base fact. A man named Paul had faith in the Christian Trinity, a man named Muhammed had faith in Allah, a man named Buddha had faith that life is inherently shitty. This is the basis of my story, our story.
Before there was time, before there was space, there was only Good, and Evil. These two strived for the other's end, and they would do it with any means that apply to their nature. Good would eradicate the hurt that starts evil by giving the hurt friendship, building them up. It would fund the poor, shelter the homeless, and give people hope. Evil would break the prosperous down by creating an outlier of them, exterminating them, abusing them, taking away everything they loved and leaving them to boil in a broth of hate. But who were the prosperous and the hurt? Who was Good and who was Evil? Good and Evil aren't just mere ideas, they spark wars, divide nations, destroy communities, and pull the human's soul in two different directions until it tears. They are the foundation of human justice, the very debate of what is good, and what is evil. Good and Evil's clash is what started the multiverse, why do you think the concepts of Good and Evil are engrained in all creation? It is evil to deforest areas, destroying habitats and exterminating wildlife, but it is good to collect raw materials to build shelter for those who don't have it. Good and Evil, the creators of this universe, will also be the destructors of the world as we know it.
Everyone is just hoping Good wins, for the sake of a new, righteous creation, instead of true hell.
However what is our role in this? What power do we have in this cosmic war? Well, we mortals decide who wins the battle. The percentage of mortals that strive to be good against the percentage of mortals that strive to be evil. No, this is not a democratic vote, because we don't decide what good and evil are. Watch out for the ones who speak of contempt, proclaiming that you are have already done what you need to do. Those are the evil ones, the ones who want to stop the striving to be better, the striving to be good. Watch for the model citizens, who believe they are as good as they need to be. That in of itself makes them evil. They condemn others for not being as "good" and in their own hearts believe they have reached the top. They are not striving for good. For the mathematicians, Good + Contempt = Evil. Now there are certain things that everyone should be contempt with. Instead of victimizing yourself, begging others for help, just be thankful and look on the bright side. You are jobless, but there are jobs available. If there aren't any jobs available, at least be thankful you're alive. That's always something to be happy about. You could be in the brazen bull, but instead of thinking of your good times coming to an end. Try, even though it's painful, try to smile on the past. Say "it's been a good run."
In conclusion, the faith that good can always be found, should be what we are striving for, if we want the world, all worlds, to be better.
